The winners will be an- nounced at the club's annual banquet, to be held 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, at Genetti Hotel & Convention Center in Wilkes-Barre. II, 14-4) to stay tied with Bishop Hoban atop the Division II standings. Valley West (2-1 Div. I, 12-7) fell into a three-way tie with Berwick and Hazleton Area in Division I. Crossin connected on five three-pointers. Coughlin 85, Dallas 77 WILKES-BARRE — Free throws were the difference, espe- cially in the second half, as Coughlin defeated Dallas Janu- ary 23. The Mountaineers jumped out to a 21-14 lead in the first quarter and led 41-38 at halftime. But a Coughlin spurt in the third gave the Comets a lead they never relin- quished. Paul McCue led Dallas with 23 points, and teammates Mike English and Matt Kelly added 19 and 14 points, respectively. Mc- Cue hit three 3-point shots and Kelly nailed two. Wyoming Valley West 75, Lake-Lehman 56 PLYMOUTH — Jared Sadows- ki led Lehman with 12, Andy Coombs added 11 and Chase Krasniak hit three 3-pointers in teh losing cause. Erin Delaney led CSI's offense See 7-8 GIRLS, pg 12 Joe Halowich Breha, Halowich inducted to L-L Wrestling Hall of Fame The Lake-Lehman Wrestling Club will hold its annual induc- tion ceremonies for the Lake- Lehman Wrestling Hall of Fame January 25. This year’s in- ductees are 1997 graduates Bill Breha and Joe Halowich. Breha was a three-year starter and compiled a 73-27 record. He was a two-time district champi- on, two-time pre-regional champ and finished as high as fourth at regionals. He was a Times Leader all-star his senior year. Halowich was a four-year starter, with a career mark of 104-39. He was a two-time dis-' trict champ, a two-time pre-re- gional place winner, finishing fourth and sixth. He was also a, Times Leader all-star his sopho-, more and senior years. . The club plans to erect a per-, manent display of all its mem-, bers in the wrestling room.
