Kane won diving with 225.05 points, while Alaric Eby of Dal- las finished second with 204.65. Stretanski says between 300 and 500 competitors usually make districts in each event, and led by more than two points be- cause the Spartans dominated the second-, third- and fourth- place finishes. Mark O’Brien won the 200 freestyle and the 100 back- stroke. Dallas 105, H 82 DALLAS — Joe Stredney and Bob Murphy recorded four first- place finishes apiece to lead Dal- las past Abington Heights. Stredney won the 200 individual medley and the 100 fly. Murphy won the 50 and 100 freestyles. Both were on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relay teams. Mark O’Brien won the 200 freestyle. But the girls then went to Coughlin and were victorious. “We look forward to our meet with Valley West,” said Stretanski, “because they've only lost about four times in the last 10 years in league meets.” Whatever happens though, Matt Stretanski feels his team will do well. “Our kids have worked really hard and done everything they should be doing,” he says. “It will be interesting to see how it goes no matter how it ends up.” Mountaineers, in the 500 freestyle and 200 free relay, but the Spartans won every other event.
