Blinded by the Light included a drive to collect non-perishable food items needed for the Back Mountain Food Pantry, which serves more than 100 families throughout the year, but especially at Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday season. There also were poignant re- minders of Casey Zalenski, the ju- nior who was killed in a botched robbery attempt at his home on November 8. In the end, the event was a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit and to generosity toward those less fortunate. sn’t “Blinded by the Light,” protecte mith, Tami Kunkle and Kristina Klokas struck a pose. d by her oversized shades.
