On October 12, the team had a strong showing in the Wyoming Valley Conference Coaches Meet in Hazleton. Medals were awarded to the top 35 finishers each race. In the girls’ race, Dallas placed four girls in the top 35 led by Ally Evans in 24th, Katie Gilligan in 28th, Kasia Szulborski in 31st and Krysta Kerrick in 33rd. Emily Polachek rounded out the top five runners for Dallas. In the boys race, the team placed three runners in the medals with Eric Danko in 18th, Dan Taroli in 22nd, and Steven Zubko in 24th. Brandon Hiscox and Pat Murray were the fourth and fifth runners for Dallas. On October 19, the team competed in the PIAA District II Championship Meet where the girls’ team finished fourth out of 25 teams.
