The children will be celebrating at a combined birthday party on Sep- tember 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. to benefit S.A.F.E. (Supporting Autism and Families Every- where). Skibinski siblings celebrate birthdays Nadia Anne Skibinski, daugh- ter of Gregory and Trena Skibins- ki of Orefield is celebrating her second birthday on September 20. Her brother, Jared Michael, celebrated his fourth birthday on September 1. Nadia and Jared are the grand- children of Albert and Marie Kom- ski Cigarski of Shavertown and John and Judy Bearnardi Skibin- ski of West Wyoming. They are the great grandchildren of the late Benedict and Victoria Altavilla Koms- ki, the late Albert and Lucy Syroid Cigarski, the late Raymond and Rose Bernardi, and the late Joseph and Helen Skibinski. Back Mountain Seniors to meet Sept. 19 Back Mountain Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday, ’ September 19 in St. Therese’s Church hall on Davis Street and Pio- neer Avenue in Shavertown. At the meeting we will discuss the Sleeping Bag for the Homeless Project, spearheaded by Flo Wheatley. The annual picnic is scheduled for September 21 at Wheatley’s Strawberry Farm in Hop Bottom. Cigarski Cigarskis celebrate 35th anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Cigarski of Chase Road in Shavertown, recently celebrated their 35th Wedding Anniversary. They were married in St. Mary's of the Maternity Church, in Wilkes-Barre, by the Rev. John Masakowski on June 24, 1967. Their attendants were Charlene Cigarski Cook and Anthony Komski. Mrs. Cigarski, the former Marie Komski, is the daughter of the late Benedict and Victoria Altavilla Komski. Mr. Cigarski is the son of the late Albert and Lucy Syroid Cigarski. The couple has two children: Trena Marie Skibinski of Ore- field, PA and Albert E. Stephen Cigarski of Belcamp, MD. They are the grandparents of Jared Michael and Nadia Anne Skibinski and Gavin Albert Cigarski. The couple celebrated the occasion with a cruise to the East- ern Caribbean.
