Samuels, of Dallas, daughter of Kathy Samuels and Gary Samuels, has graduated cum laude from Hartwick College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She was also named to the spring term dean’s list, which required a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 point scale. At Hartwick, Samuels has participated in Big Brother/Big Sister Program, Orchesis Dance Club, Outing Club, Tri-Beta, and Grassroots. Local youth win High Silver award @osic Ivory, Adrienne Box, Nicole Sobocinski, Gianna DeGraba and | Madeleine Burg, took High Silver honors at their first Regional | Dance competition held recently in Hazleton. They study Tap and | Jazz under Angela Martino at Major Performing Arts Center in Trucksville. Rosie Ivory is the 8-year-old daughter of Nicholas and Sarah Ivory of Kingston Township. She is a fourth grader at Dallas Elementary, a girl scout and soccer player. Rosie also studies Ballet at MPAC. Adri- enne also studies voice at MPAC with Gina Major Ackerman, and | he enjoys art, Brownies and soccer. Nicole Sobocinski of the Back | Mountain is a fourth grader at Dallas Elementary and is nine. She is the daughter of Bruce and Sandy Sobocinski. Gianna DeGraba is a fifth grader at Gate of Heaven School and is 10. Gianna studies bal- let and pre-pointe at MPAC as well. She is the daughter of Lisa and Joseph DeGraba of Dallas. Madeleine Burg of Kingston, is a fourth grader at Wyoming Seminary Lower School. She is nine and the daughter of Elaine and Paul Burg.
