RAUB Post Staff LEHMAN TWP. — Three area youths | were taken by helicopter to area hospi- <4 tals, and three other people were trans- ported by ambulance after a two-car colli- sion along Route 118, in front of Cook's Variety Store Tuesday afternoon. According to police, a Subaru Impreza, driven by Matthew Feehan, 17, of Sweet Valley and carrying three other teenagers, was struck by a Ford Explorer, traveling eastbound on Rt. 118 near noon, as the Impreza attempted to enter Route 118 from Market Street, adjacent to Cook's. The Explorer was driven by Karen Raspen, Hunlock Creek, and her 10-year- - old daughter was a passenger. Lehman Township Police Chief Howard Kocher identified the youths as Feehan; Ashley Basar, Lehman; Leslie Rosen- baum, Chase, and Josh Marth, Sweet Valley. Feehan and Rosenbaum were taken to Community Medical Center, Scranton. A spokesperson there said Feehan was in the Intensive Care Unit Wednesday morn- ing, and Rosenbaum was in a hospital room.
