Orr III, 90, of Dal- las, died Friday, May 3, 2002 at his home in Palm Beach, Fla. He also resided in Wilmington, Del. He was born and raised in Lewes, Del. He graduated from the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va., and attended the U.S. Naval Academy. He re- tired from E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. in 1974 as comptroller of the International Department. He joined the com- pany in 1940, as one of the orig- inal members of the Foreign Re- lations Department. He served in various capacities and, after a short assignment in Lima, Peru, was transferred in 1947 to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where ‘he was assistant treasurer and later treasurer of DuPont's sub- sidiary (Ducilo). He became as- sistant general manager of Ducilo in 1956 and two years later returned to DuPont's head- quarters in Wilmington, Del., where he held several financial posts within the Latin American Division and later the Interna- tional Department. Before join- ing DuPont, Mr. Orr was em- ployed at the Equitable Trust Company in Wilmington and, from 1937 to 1940, was treasur- er of P.J. Nowland, Inc., Wilm- ington. He was past president of the American Chamber of Com- merce in Buenos Aires and past president of the Church Club of Delaware. He served as finance committee chairman of Trinity Episcopal Church of Wilming- ton. He was a member of the Everglades Club and the Bath and Tennis Club, both of Palm Beach, Fla.; the Wilmington Club and the Wilmington Coun- try Club, both of Wilmington, Del.; and the Westmoreland Club of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Mr. Orr was married for 49 years to the former Amy Kirkpatrick of Wilmington. She died in 1988. Mr. Orr was remarried to the former Geraldine Nesbitt of Dal- las, Pa., in 1988. ‘He is survived by his second wife; his brother, Robert Orr of . Lewes, Del.; four children by his first marriage (Amy Lear of Millersville, Pa., and Lewes, Del.; William P. Orr IV of Tea- neck, N.J.; Jane Drevo of Ger- mantown, Md.; John Orr of Paoli, Pa.); one step-son (Abram Nesbitt III of Dallas, Pa.); eight grandchildren and two step- grandchildren; one great-grand- son and one step-great-grand- daughter. June Besecker, 85, of Luzerne Avenue, Dallas, died Tuesday May 7, 2002 at Mercy Center, Dallas. Born in Trumansburg, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Wallace H. and Frances Boyer O'Neill. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School and Nes- bitt Hospital School of Nursing. Before retiring, she was em- ployed as night nursing supervi- sor at the former Nesbitt Hospi- tal, Kingston. She was a mem- ber of the First Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston. For many years, she was a self-employed clairvoyant, known as “The Lady from Union,” who specialized in reading and advis- ing. She retired in 1987. She at- tended Lee Park Elementary School and graduated from Hanover High School. She was a 1969 graduate of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Radi- ologic Technology, where she was awarded the Malinkrodt Award of Excellence. Early in her career, she was a radiologic technologist at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and later at Kingston Medical Center. At the center, she also was office man- ager. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church, the Shaver- town section of Kingston Town- ship, and attended the chapel at College Misericordia, Dallas Township. She was an active member of the Parents Teachers Associa- tion and was an officer of the Dallas Soccer Booster Club. Orloski Sr., 79, of Loyalville, died Wednesday May 1, 2002 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Bom. Dec. 26, 1922, in Kingston, and was the son of the late Louis and Helen Tolinda Or- loski.
