Lewis, pastor of the Dallas United Methodist Church, has recently " been nominated for induction into the Legion of Honor of the Chapel of Four Chaplains. This organization is dedicated to pre- serving the memory of four U.S. Army chaplains who gave their life jackets to soldiers and per- ished when their torpedoed troop transport sank during World War II in the Atlantic Ocean. The Rev. Dr. William D. Lewis was an Army chaplain for 24 Republican Candidates to meet ® years, retiring in reserve in 1998. He is a veteran with the rank of lieutenant colonel with the 28th Division, Pennsylvania National Guard. Rev.
