HARVEYS LA WOMEN’S Spring Fest Horse Show Sunday at fair grounds |, The Spring Fest Horse Show will be held Sunday, May 5 at the Luzerne County Fair Grounds, Route 118 in Dallas. The show is the season opener for the North- eastern PA Horsemen's Associa- tion which sanctions horse shows each weekend through September. There will be a full day of English classes, starting at 8 a.m., for hunter horse and ponies and equi- tation riders. Proceeds will benefit the Bolt and Buck 4-H Horse Club. One of the highlights is a high point five show series award for the highest scoring Tandem/Pairs Hunter Division entry at the Spring Fest, Dallas Horse and Pony (May 12), Borrowdale Acres (June 2), Back Mountain (Aug. 25), and Showin’ Blue (Sept. 22). All of these shows will be at the Luzerne County Fair grounds. The judge for the Spring Fest is Brian Murray of New Jersey, and the show manager is Cindy Weaver of Maple Ridge Farm in White Haven.
