Theft charge goes to court Carrie Marie Skrepnak, 34, of RR 3 Box 99, Union Dale, had a charge of receiving stolen property held over to county court in a preliminary hearing in front of district justice James Tupper. According to police: On May 5, 2001, Gregory Skrepnak reported to Edwardsville police that he had several items stolen from his Dallas residence, including a 4 carat emerald cut dia- mond ring, valued at approximately $20,000. Police said on September 19, they received information from Greg Skrepnak that the ring was sold at Tovon and Co. in Dallas by Carrie Skrepnak for $3,200 in cash. Police said they received positive identification from Thomas Van Scoy Jr. that Carrie Skrepnak did sell the ring to Tovon and Co. The District Attorney's office investigated the case.
