Inishowen at Chicory House Contra Dance The Chicory House and the Folklore Society will showcase new talent at a Contra Dance on Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. The dance is held at the St. There- se’'s Church, Pioneer Ave. at Davis St., Shavertown. No part- ner or previous experience is necessary, and all dances are taught and called. The band is called Inishowen, after a peninsula on the north coast of Ireland. Inishowen con- sists of Lynn Colgan (right) and Henry Cohen. Henry carries the tunes primarily on the fiddle, occasionally switching off to hammered dulcimer or tenor banjo for a little variety.
