Bebey, 92, formerly of Troxell Switch Road, Lake Township, died Wednesday Feb. 27, 2002 at the Mead- ows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Anna (Chewey) Elenchik. She attended Oak- dale School, Jackson Town- ship. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake, and its Altar and Rosary Society, and also the Reginas of King's College. She was preceded in death by her husband, John V.; broth- ers, John, Joseph and George; and sister, Mary. Surviving are her sons, Fran- cis A., Anchorage, Alaska; and John A., Lehman Town- ship; daughter, Mary Ann Strong, Nanticoke; nine grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren; brother, Frank, Jackson Township; and sisters, Katherine Hu- dak, Dallas; Agnes Manzoni and Frances Stash, both of Jackson Township; and Mar- garet Harrison, Blooming- dale. INEZ CUNIUS Dallas resident Inez Mae Cunius, 72, of Dallas, died Monday Feb. 25, 2002 at Tyler Memorial Hos- pital, Tunkhannock. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mable (Lutz) Cu- nius. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank. Surviving are several nephews. ANDREW BIZUB World War II veteran Andrew Bizub Jr., 79, of the Shavertown section of Kingston Township died Sunday March 3, 2002 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born March 20, 1922, in Blaine, Ohio, he was a,son of the late Andrew and Mary (Va- necko) Bizub Sr. He was a 1940 graduate of Coughlin - High School. During World War II, he was a machinist's mate second class aboard the USS Eberle in the U.S. Coast Guard. Before his retirement, he worked in the tool and dye shop of the Cadillac di- vision of General Motors. He for- merly attended - St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of American Legion Post 945. Surviving are his brother, Michael, Lawrenceville, Ga.; sis- ter, town; and two nieces and one nephew.
