Supervisors announce tax assistance program Kingston Township Tax Collec- tor, Karen Rose, advises resi- dents that the 2002 county tax bills were mailed on February 15. If you are the owner of a home or property in Kingston Township and did not receive a tax bill, it is your responsibility to notify the tax collector at 696-3809. If you are a new owner of an estab- lished home and did not receive a tax bill, notify the tax collector so records can be changed accord- ingly. All payments must be post- marked on or before April 16, to be eligible for the rebate. Regular office hours at the mu- nicipal building, 180 E. Center St., Shavertown, are Monday and Thursday, 9 am. to 3 pm. A voice mail message can be left at 696-3809 at anytime and will be answered promptly. The Kingston Township Board of Supervisors announces that both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Rev- enue and Don Wilkinson Agency will have taxpayer assistance available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 14, at the Township Municipal Building, 180 East Center Street, Shavertown. The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will assist taxpayers with their State Income Tax forms. Don Wilkinson Agency will assist taxpayers with their local Kingston Township form. Residents with questions may call the Township Administrative Office at 696-3809.
