The famous musical by Joseph Stien, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick is based on stories by Sholom Aleichem. It first made Broadway history 30 years ago, starring Zero Mostel as the indomitable milkman, Tevye. : Fiddler On The Roof is directed by Agnes Cummings, musical direction is by Linda Orseck, sets and lighting by Michael Gallagher, and costumes by K.D. Love, assisted by Inez Williams. The role of Tevye will be played by Ron Araya. The role of Golde, his wife, will be played by Debbie Zehner. Back Moun- tain students Alson Taroli and Alison Potsko play two of Tevye’s five daughters: Chava (Alison Taroli) and Tzeitel (Allison Pot- sko). Alison Taroli of Dallas is a ju- nior at Bishop Hoban High school. She is a member of the school chorus, forensics team, cross country and track teams and has appeared in school mu- sicals. Alison Potsko is a senior at College Misericordia. She is a member of the school's Educa- tion Club, Madrigal singers, and Misericordia Players. She has appeared in several college plays.
