Ciaruffoli, CPA, Chairman and CEO, Parente Randolph, recently announced the promotion of Kimberly Dula to a manager in the firm. Dula promoted since. She received her BS in Ac- counting from Kings College and has supplemented her education with various courses offered by the American and Pennsylvania the American Institute of Certi- fied Public Accountants, Penn- sylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Es- tate Planning Council of North- 3 College Misericordia’s administration building. ¢ College Misericordia administration 2 Li building undergoing renovations College Misericordia has begun an extensive renovation of its 78- year old administration building. Improvements will include ren- ovations in many areas of the building including the ground, first and second floors. Work is expected to take approximately 3 10 months. “We believe these improve- ments will provide much needed classroom space to accommo- date our growing enrollment and new academic programs,” says Dr. Michael MacDowell, presi- dent. The ground floor will house classrooms as well as elements 0° the College's finance division, including Information technology and the controller's office. The first floor will consolidate several student services in one area, in- cluding the registrar, student ac- counts and financial aid. New classrooms and offices for speech-language pathology, CM's newest five-year entry level mas- ter's degree, will be built on the second floor, occupying some of the former library space. The College's Diversity Institute will temporarily move to the second floor along with the institutional advancement division. Also planned is a “Founders Room” that pays tribute to Sisters of Mercy who pioneered the Col- lege. Funding for the $2.7 million project is provided by College Misericordia’s ongoing Advancing the Vision fundraising campaign. The campaign is also supporting the development of 19 acres of land west of campus to accom- modate a new lacrosse and track and field facility. This highly suc- cessful campaign currently stands at $3,700,000, including a $300,000 grant from the Kres- ge Foundation. An additional $600,000 is needed to bring the campaign to a successful conclu- sion. Earlier this year, cosmetic im- provements to the exterior of the administration building included both window painting and ma- sonry work. Also renovated dur- ing summer were the highly visi- ble entrance arch and McHale Hall. Parking on campus was also increased by 80 spaces with the demolition of the aging tennis courts and realignment of exist- ing parking spaces.
