Sem parents plan Mardi Gras auction Mardi Gras will arrive a little early next year for the Wyoming Seminary community, as the Upper School Parents Association hosts "Sem's Mardi Gras 2002" Auction on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort. The event is the Association's primary fund-raiser and will feature a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction. The evening will end with dancing to music by local jazz band Souled Out. Funds raised support faculty programs. Scholarship program offers awards to agriculture students Students pursuing careers in agriculture can apply for a scholarship from the Careers in Agri- culture scholarship program, jointly sponsored by Agriliance, Land O'Lakes Farmland Feed and Croplan Genetics. High school seniors who will enroll in a two-or four-year agronomy or livestock curriculum in the fall of 2002 are eligible to ap- ply. Fifty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Alumni may pick up their yearbooks from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily in the high school main office. Receipts are helpful, but not necessary. A limited number of extra copies are also avail- able on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who did not order earlier. These extra copies go quickly and alumni are encouraged to visit the school as soon as possible. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the book.
