This year’s award recipients were Julie Rifkin, Kingston, and Gre- gory Zeigler, Forty Fort. They received their awards during half- time of the Sem Homecoming football game, played Saturday, Octo- ber 27. The award ceremony was part of the two-day Homecoming event, which included the induction of six new members in the Sem Sports Hall of Fame, alumni field hockey and soccer games, the Home- coming football game against Polytechnic Preparatory Day School, Brooklyn, N.Y., and reunion gatherings for the classes of 1986, 1991 and 1996. Todd Vonderheid of Wilkes-Barre, class of 1987, also received the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award during halftime activities in recognition of his many contributions to the community and Sem.
