Standardized test dates to note The Dallas High School Guidance Department would like to re- mind parents and students of important standardized test dates. The deadline for postmarked registration for the SAT which will be given at Dallas High School on Sat., Nov. 3, is Sept. 28. Stu- dents may obtain a registration bulletin in the guidance office. The PSAT will be given at Dallas High School on Sat., Oct 20. this test is highly recommended for college bound juniors and should be taken before the SAT. The PSAT is also used to deter- mine National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists and finalists. The NEDT is being offered to all sophomores and freshman on Wed., Oct. 3. The cost for the NEDT is $10 and checks should be made payable to Dallas High School. Registration deadline is Sept. 26... : ’ Most colleges suggest students take the NEDT twice, ninth and tenth grade. The PSAT in the fall of junior year. The SAT no more than three times beginning in the spring of junior year. Parents who have questions regarding any of these tests should call the guidance department at 674-7218.
