Thresholds needs volunteers The ‘Threshold’ program at Chase Prison is seeking volun- teers for the program beginning in September. ’ Threshold is a decision-mak- ing program which is taught to inmates at the correctional facil- ity in Dallas who are about to be released. .The Threshold course is taught by volunteers, on a one-to-one basis over a pe- riod of nine weeks. The only ‘prerequisite to becoming a vol- unteer is to be a caring person who wants to reach out to someone about to make a new beginning. There will be a train- ing session on Sat. and Sun.
