Nulton celebrate 50 years Mr. and Mrs. Sherry Edgar Nulton, Dallas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 8, 2001. They were married in St., Therese’s Church, Shavertown, by the late Rev. John J. O'Leary. Jeanne Sullivan Rosser was matron of honor, and Bettie Sulli- van was maid of honor. Best man was Eugene Machinist and ushers were John F. Rosser and Louis Nolf. On April 22, 2001 the couple renewed their wedding vows and had their marriage blessed by James C. Timlin, Bishop of Scran- ton, in St. Peter's Cathedral, Scranton. Mr. and Mrs. Nulton have seven children: a daughter, Dr. Kathleen Kemmerer, Shavertown, and sons; James, Allentown; Daniel, Trucksville; Christopher, Atlantic City, N.J.; Patrick, Dal- las; Gerard, Cleveland, Ohio; and Dr. Peter Nulton, Providence, R.I. There are nine grandchildren. Mr. Nulton is the son of the late Edgar S. Nulton, of Lehman and the late Adrienne Nulton Collis of Harveys Lake. Before retire- ment, he was employed as a Field Manager for 36 years by the Peoples Security Insurance Company. He is a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Assembly Fourth Degree Knights of Colum- bus and an active member of the color guard. Mr. Nulton is a member of Gate of Heaven Church and belongs to the Holy Name Society. Mrs. Nulton is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Sullivan of Dallas. Before her retirement, two years ago, Mrs. Nul- ton was employed for 30 by the Dallas School District as an ele- mentary teacher. She is a graduate of College Misericordia Dallas. She is a teacher/consultant for the Northeast Pennsylvania Writ- ing Project. Mrs. Nulton is a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas and its Altar and Rosary Society. The golden anniversary has been celebrated with a family din- ner and parties. The couple has traveled to Greece and Rome to mark the occasion and will return to Wildwood Crest, N.J., where they spent their honeymoon.
