The Dallas Post * 675-5211 Wyoming Seminary Senior Lloyd Droppers, Dallas, announced he will be attending the Air Force Acad- emy in Colorado Springs, Colorado in September. Lloyd has won a scholarship which includes tuition and room and board for four years as well as a monthly stipend. He was one of 1.200 high school se- niors chosen from a pool of 9,500 students from across the country. Lloyd was recruited for his academ- ic strengths and to play lacrosse. During his four years at Sem’'s Up- per School, Lloyd excelled in acade- mics and athletics. He played varsi- ty lacrosse and varsity basketball for three years, serving as captain of both his senior year and earning de- fensive MVP status in both sports. Inducted into the Cum Laude Soci- ety in the fall, Droppers is a high honors student. Lloyd was awarded the scholar- ship by Major David Palmer of the U.S. Air force at a recent awards ceremony. r o
