Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Harry Cropp Sr., Massachusetts, and the late Frances (Briar) Cropp. She worked at Atwater Mills, Dallas, and has been retired for the past 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and infant son, Michael. Surviving, in addition to her father, are her son, Chris Flay- hart, Nanticoke; two grandchil- dren; brother, Harry Cropp Jr., Seattle; and companion, George Shaver, Dallas. MARY LOU DECESARIS Member of Gate of Heaven Church Mary Lou DeCesaris, 66, of Jackson Township, died Tuesday at her home. Born March 7, 1935, in Nanti- coke, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Louise (Sne- ichar) Zakszewski. She was a member Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Surviving are her sons, Joseph and Anthony, both of Jackson Township; Michael, Danielsville; eight grandchildren; and broth- ers, Eugene Zak, Las Vegas; and Joseph Zakszewski, Nanticoke. Frantz, of Laceyville, formerly of Carverton Road, Trucksville, Kingston Township, died Tuesday at the Dar-Way Nursing Home Inc., Estelle. Born Dec. 9, 1924, in Dallas, she was a daughter of the late Giles and Mildred (Cook) Dere- mer. She was a seamstress at several local textile factories, be- fore retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brother, Lawrence Deremer; and sisters, Louise Berth and Doris Singer. Surviving are her brothers, James Deremer, Evans Falls; and Alfred Deremer, both of Black Walnut; and Wayne Dere- mer, Laceyville; sister, Elizabeth Dulsky, Tunkhannock; and nu- merous nieces and nephews. LANCEFORD SUTTON Former owner of L.C. Sutton Trucking and Bus Co., Lehman Lanceford C. Sutton, 89, of Lehman Township, died Thurs- day at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1912, in Lehman Township, he was a son of the late Aaron and Hannah (Slife) Sutton. He was a 1930 graduate of Lehman High School. He owned and operated L.C. Sutton Trucking and Bus Co., Lehman Township, for over 50 years, re- tiring 13 years ago. He was a member of the Lehman United Methodist Church, Osage Lodge 712, Lehman Township, IOOF, charter member and former fire chief of the Lehman Fire Co. and member of the Lehman Ambu- lance Association. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Beulah Goodwin; brother, Leslie; and sisters, Ruth Jones and Edith Perry.
