As evidenced by the photos, they Qaida an excellent job. The work was done as a com- munity service project. Win- dows were painted at three se- nior living facilities and five places of business. They includ- ed the Meadows Nursing Cen- ter, Lakeside Manor, Mountain- view Manor, Thomas's Market, Mr. Z's, Curry Donuts, the @Grange Bank and Friendly's Restaurant. “They leave the paintings on the windows for a long time at the Meadows,” Mrs. Morris said. “The residents really en- joy the bright and cheerful col- ors.” The group of young artists consisted of 40 talented seniors and 14 gifted freshman. Diana Pascucci Mercy Center resident Diana Pascucci, 91, formerly of New Street, in the Hudson section of Plains Township, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospi- tal, following an illness. Born in the northern province of Perugia, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Francisca Bedzicotti Notari. She came to America at the age of 17, resided in Hud- son for most of her life and was a resident of the Mercy Center, Dallas, for the past 18 months. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Primo; son, Angelo “"Shorty;” sister, Mary Gross; and step brother, Vincent Bot- tocelli.
