Trout fishing changes along Harveys Creek A real estate transaction involving land along Harveys Creek in Luzerne County means trout stocking and fishing in the area will be restricted this year. This year the Pavlick Road to Jackson Road section of the creek will not be stocked and will be closed to the public. The two remaining sections of the creek totaling 5.4 miles will be stocked again this year with approximately 3,400 trout. DYB 5th Grade Team takes 2nd The DYB 5th Grade Tournament Team took second place in the Catholic Youth Center 5th Grade Tournament last week. After los- ing in the second round, the team advanced to the championship round with victories over Regis Academy, Gate of Heaven, and Valley West. Doug Harding scored 18 points and Eric Tucker 7 to lead the team over Gate of Heaven 39-30. Patrick Murray led Gate of Heaven with 9 points. DYB next defeated Valley West 27-24 behind Kyle Ar- naud’s 7 points. Peter Steve and Michael Kravitsky added 2 each while Michael Gross led the rebounding. DYB forced a winner-take- all final they edged St. Nick's 35-30. Kyle Arnaud continued his hot shooting with 12 points, while Mark Covert added 6 and Joe Kaiser and Daniel Taroli added 2 each. In the championship game, St. Nick's topped DYB 26-14. Owen Wignot led St. Nick's with 14 points, while Mark Covert led Dallas with 8.
