Bernadine Vojtko, Director and Choreographer, has announced that the large cast has a num- ber of Back Mountain residents playing roles in the production. Performance dates are March 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 2001, at The Little Theatre, 537 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The musical is based on Da- mon Runyon’s short story “The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown.” Guys and Dolls eventually be- came the fifth longest-running Broadway musical of the 50's. The story revolves around Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest established perma- nent floating crap game in New York, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that Sky can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him. The next girl Sky sees happens to be Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart Salvation Army type reformer, and the stage is set for an evening of hilarious complica- tions. For more information and seat reservations, call Little Theatre's Box Office at (570) 823-1875 and leave word. Lit- tle Theatre can also be reached at www.ltwb.org.
