Alicia Evans came through big in the second half for Eastern Insurance scor- ing all of her 7 points and pulling down numerous rebounds to keep her team in the game. GIRLS Semi-finals Eastern Insurance Group 19, CDI 13 Eastern Insurance came out strong with a 16-5 lead in the first half but CDI answered back in the 3rd quarter going on a 8-0 run. Eastern played tough defense in the final quarter to get the win and advance to the finals. High scorer for Eastern was Alicia Evans with 9 points. Kelci Gibbons had six points and Ally Evans had four for the winners. Erin Delaney was high scorer for CDI with six points. Alyssa Cybulski had 3 points and Lindsey Davenport and Rosemary Shaver each chipped in a bucket. Eye Care Specialists 20, Pierce Drug 12 In the second semi-final game of the day, Eye Care’s well-balanced offense was the key to the victory. Courtney Taylor and Lindsey McCabe each scored six points for the winners. Suzy Krogulski had four points while Jen Boback and Heather Mines each added a basket. Final-signup for BMT Baseball Back Mountain Baseball and Softball will conduct its third and final player registration for the 2001 season on Monday, March 5 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dallas American Legion. All children age 6 and older who have not already registered and who wish to participate in T-ball, major and minor league baseball, major and minor league softball, and all teen programs should register at that time. All prospective players should bring their Social Security numbers to registra- tion. Any child who has not previously participated in Back Mountain Base- ball or Softball should bring his or her birth certificate to registration as proof of age. The cost of registration is $35 for the first child in a family, $15 for the second child, and $10 for each ad- ditional child. Hunter Engleheart led the offense with great passing and Mathew Fernandez led the defense for PNC Bank. The Le- gion was lead by Andrew Besecker, Eddie Stredney and Scott Skammer.
