Mizenko studies in England AnnLynn Mizenko of Dallas, a business management major at the Florham-Madison Campus of Fairleigh dickinson University, is spending the spring semester studying at Wroxton College, FDU’s overseas campus in Ox- fordshire, England. Wroxton College is located in the rural heart of England, a short distance from Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. during the semester, students are housed in a fully modernized 17th-century Jacobean mansion that was once the home of Lord North, England’s Prime Minister during the American Revolution. A semester at Wroxton is care- fully designed to provide a com- plete, integrated study abroad experience, combining a high quality academic program with the opportunity to travel and ex- perience new cultures. Lec- tures, seminars and distinctive British tutorials teach courses given by highly qualified profes- sors and distinguished guest lecturers from the worlds of business, government and the performing arts. Kindergarten registration at Dallas Dr. Gilbert R. Griffiths, super- intendent of the Dallas School District, announces kinder- garten registration for the 2001- 2002 school year will be held in the gymnasium of the Gerald J. Wycallis Elementary School on Conyngham Ave., Dallas on March 19, 20, 21," and "22. Hours will be from 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A child must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2001 to make him/her eligible for kindergarten. A birth certifi- cate or other acceptable evi- dence of age and the social se- curity card must accompany each registration. The school of- ficials need to review the child's immunizations to be certain the child meets the standards as set by the state regarding immu- nizations. Parents are to bring all records of their child's immu- nizations. If the student's records do not meet the stan- dards, he/she will not be able to attend school. Those with last names begin- ning with A,B,C,.D and E will register on Monday, March 19; those with F, G, H, I, J, and K on Tuesday, March 20; those with L, M, N, O, P, Q, Rand S on Wednesday, March 21 and those with T, U, V, W. X, Y and Z on Thursday, March 22. In addition to the registration, vision and speech screenings will be given. Kindergarten teachers will be available to an- swer any questions or concerns.
