At the end of third quarter they were ahead by two. At the end of regulation it was tied and went into over- time. Eye Care won 15-14 in overtime with a basket at the buzzer. Suzy Krogulski was high scorer for Eye Care Specialists with 8 points. Courtney Tay- lor had four points and Margie Gelso and Jennifer Boback each added a basket. Burger King had a strong third quarter to come within 3 points. Eye Eye Care scored 13 points in the final quarter to Burger King's 6 to capture the win. High scorers for Eye Care were Megan Savage with 12 and Rebekah Clay with 11. Cassie Snider added 6 and Caitlin green had four. Hillary Adams and Kristin Evans played great defen- sive games. They won their five tournament games by scoring 23 goals with only one goal scored against them. They displayed a great team effort. Pirates Black drop close one On Nov. 25 the Pirates Squirt Black team traveled to Delaware and lost 3-2. The Ducks broke a 2-2 tie with a power play goal early in the third period and the Pirates were unable to net the equalizer. Both Pirate goals were scored by Matt Luksic of Shavertown with 2 assists from teammates. Other players contributing to the Pirate cause were Ricky Rose and Alex Slocum, both of Shavertown. Pirates Red ties at Newburgh Ricky Rose, Shavertown, scored the tying goal as the Pocono Pirates Squirt Red team played the Newburgh Ice Time to a 4-4 tie at Newburgh.
