Morgantini, both of Dallas, was united in marriage with Mr. Paul Edward Bartley Ill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren R. Hartwell of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and the late Paul E. Bartley, Jr., on May 20, at the Shavertown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Janet B. Clark performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Allen, of Dallas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George L. Ruckno. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Gladys K. Bartley of Ham- burg, PA, and the late Mr. Paul E. Bartley and Mr. and Mrs. Alva A. Eggleston. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose her friend Robin Runner, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah ~ Ruckno, sister of the bride; Jessica Jones, Joanna Siegel and Cindy Ruckno, cousins of the bride; and Kristen Farmer- Vonderheid, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Katherine Allen, cousin of the bride. Robert Eggleston, Jr., cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ward Hartwell, stepbrother of the ¢ groom; Louis Ruckno, Jr., brother of the bride; and Michael Cramton, Del Necessary and Todd Vonderheid, friends of the groom. Scriptural readings were narrated by Christopher Siegel, David Ruckno and Michael Jones, cousins of the bride. Musical selections were performed by Sarah Ruckno and Lori Ashton. A formal evening reception was held at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre following the ceremony. : Mrs. Bartley is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston and Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in finance. She is employed as the public relations manager for Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Inc. The groom is also a graduate of Wyoming Seminary. and the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business entrepreneurship. He is employed as the vice president of sales for WRH Industries, Ltd. Ms. Firestone is known as the founding lecturer for the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Educational Outreach Program. She lecturers to adults and students of all ages throughout the United States and abroad about her experiences as a Holocaust survivor. She has also been a presenter in the "Tools For Tolerance" program of the Museum of Tolerance addressing teachers and law enforcement agencies on issues relating to cul- tural diversity and sensitivity. For the past five years, Renee ‘will appear at Misericordia Firestone has been involved as a trainer and interviewer with Steven Spielberg's "Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foun- dation," the organization founded to document the testimonies of the last remaining survivors of the Holocaust, righteous Gentiles and military liberators. Firestone was recently re- warded for her efforts by being one of the five survivors whose experiences were recounted in "The Last Days" which received the 1999 Oscar for Best Feature Length Documentary.
