During the fair, information was provided to employees of Sallie ’ Mae about the future Child Devel- WW opment and Training Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania, which will be constructed at the College's campus in Nanticoke. The LCCC Foundation is con- ducting the Care Campaign for Children to support construction of an intergenerational daycare center to provide both child and adult daycare services to LCCC Qe and the community. The Center will also serve as a training facility for students in LCCC's child development cur- riculum. Griffins graduate from area schools Cynthia Griffin, daughter of Bud Duffield of Dallas, PA and Virginia Zeiders of Sunbury, PA graduated with high honors recently from McCann School of Business, Sunbury campus. She received a ®ipioma for Computer Programming Technician and is currently employed with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Griffin is a 1978 graduate of Dallas Senior High where she realized her love of computers This led her to join the Marine Corps as a Computor Operator where she spent 15 years. Griffin is also a Persian Gulf . veteran. Christina, 18, her oldest daughter, graduated from Shikellamy High School, Sunbury on June 2. She most recently costume designed the Muhlenberg Theatre Association's production of Anton Chekhov's The Wedding. She has been in the MTA's Galileo. She costume designed one piece in each of the student choreographed dance shows since Spring. 99 and was costume de- signer for the black box Life Under Water. She has studied fashion design and draping at the Rhode Island School of Design and in Italy last semester.
