Trinity Presbyterian Church Confirmation Class of 2000 Trinity Presbyterian Church of Dallas is proud to present the Confirmation Class of 2000 who were admitted to full membership recently during morning worship. As part of the Liturgy, an Affirma- tion of Faith written by the Confirmands was used, and the congregation celebrated The Lord's Supper. During worship two members of the Confirmation Class were baptized. Receiving Baptism were: Lacey Cooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cooper and Megan Riley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riley. Sponsors were Miss Karen Sassaman and Mrs. Julie Sgarlat. Following the Service the Confirmands presented a decoupaged Celtic Cross to the Church as a symbol of the com- mitments they had made. Each of the 15 Confirmands was presented with a silver cross, a gift from the congregation. Areception followed the service of Worship. Chicken and biscuit dinner July 22 Lehman taxes mailed July 10 Lehman Township Tax Collec- tor, Peggy Moyer, advises taxpay- ers that the 2000 Lake Lehman School District property and school per capita taxes have been mailed July 10. All bills have been mailed to the property owner and/or. resident, at their last known address. Anyone who has not received a tax bill, has re- cently moved, or has recently sold their property should notify the tax collector. Responsibility to receive the tax bill rests with the property owner or resident. Anyone having an escrow ac- count should promptly forward only the property bill to their bank or mortgaging company for pay- ment. Ifareceiptis needed please attach it to the bill. Per Capita taxes are to be paid by the resi- dents. All residents 18 years of age and older are liable for the school per capita tax. If you have not received one, please contact the tax collector. Anyone with income not ex- ceeding $5,000 per person, or $10,000 per married couple can apply for exoneration from the per capita tax each year. Forms can be obtained from the school dis- trict business office or the tax collector. Residents are reminded that payments must be received or postmarked on or before the Sep- tember 8, deadline to receive the two percent rebate. Face value will be from September 9 through November 7; and penalty value from November 8 through Decem- ber 8. Anyone mailing in their taxes should enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Also, note the” office hours listed at the top of each bill. Trucksville UMC flea market August The United Methodist Women of the Trucksville United Method- ist Church will sponsor the Sev- enth Annual "Flea Market on the Lawn" on Saturday, August 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Rain date if August 12). Spaces are limited but there _ are still some available at S10 each.
