The Children’s Auction will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday July 8. The Scouts will run the food stand, collect the money, be the runners, and also auction all the items. We ask that children be allowed to be the bidders. Members of Troop 281 have collected toys to be auctioned. Please remember that all proceeds go directly to the Back Mountain Memorial Library, so allow your children to help their library. Did you know? Less than 20 percent of the library's operating budget comes from state and municipal sources? The net proceeds from the auction usually provide that much or more.
