Everyone is encouraged to enter the flower show with a floral display of a simple cutting from a spring gar- den. You need not belong to a garden club to enter your plants or designs and there is no entry fee. Ticket prices are $6 for adults, 83 for children ages 6-12 and all children under 6 are free. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Judging of the exhibits by accredited National Council of State and Garden Club Inc. judging is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The judging will be followed by a "Preview Party" from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. which everyone is encouraged to attend. Entries sought for 'Mother of the Year' The Catherine McAuley Center's Special Events Commit- tee is sponsoring a Mother of the Year Contest for the year 2000. Blood drive April 28 at Lake-Noxen ~The Lake-Noxen Elementary School in cooperation with the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross will be spon- soring a community blood drive.
