@ oe The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, March 29,2000 3 Business group plans egg hunt Members of the Back Moun- tain Business and Professional Association (BMBPA) are gearing up for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and could use a little help. The event attracts hundreds of children and their families for an afternoon of entertainment, “egg hunting” and family fun. Children between the ages of 1 and 10 may participate, and they are separated by age groups so that each child is sure to easily retrieve eggs. In order to assure there are enough goodies to go around, the organization relies on donations of from area mer- chants and individuals. The BMBPA uses cash donations to purchase candy and prizes, while appropriate small items and gift certificates can be included in goodie bags that are handed out to each child. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 15, starting at 1 p.m. on the campus of Penn State Wilkes-Barre in Lehman. In addition to the egg hunt there will be a disc jockey, entertain- ment, and holiday characters. The Easter Bunny greeted a youngster at last year’s event, above. Anyone interested in helping the event may send a donation to: BMBPA, P.O. Box 25, Dallas PA, 18612, or call 675-9380 and leave a message.
