He was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Nanticoke, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Marcinko Hischak. Mr. Hischak was an Army vet- eran, having served in the engi- neering corps in the Phillipines. His wife, the former Julia Waznia; daughter, Mary Susan Broz; brothers, Michael and Jo- seph; sisters, Ann, Sister Mary Hermina and Sister Mary Matthias, both of the order of SS. She was born in Yatesville, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Barber Bonomo. Her husband, John; brother, Ralph Bonomo, preceded her in death. Surviving are daughter, Debra Kertesz, Shavertown; brother, Joseph Bonomo West Pittston; sister, Louise Trischitta, South Amboy, NJ; grandsons, Matthew, Jonathan, and Mark; aunt, Rena Capone, Wyoming; nieces and nephews. Harchar, of Swoyersville, died Wed., Mar. 1, 2000 in the Department of Veter- ans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township. He was born in Swoyersville, son of the late Rudolph and Mary Glaush Harchar, and was an Army veteran of World War II, where he served in the Pacific Theatre. Brother, George preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Jean Visco; sons, Gerard, Dallas; Rudy, Shalimar, Fla.; Randy, Waverly Hall, Ga.; four grandchildren; nieces ‘and nephews. Interment will be in Mt.
