Q Harlem Wizards visit Lehman-Jackson The Harlem Wizards recently visited Lehman-Jackson Elementary. The students were treated to an amazing display of comedy and basketball in motion and a valuable lesson about staying in school and going after their dreams. While dazzling students with their skills and tricks, the players offered lessons on living your dreams and saying “NO” to drugs. They also gave out prizes and even had the teachers show off their basketball expertise. Luzerne County Head Start offering alumni scholarships Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. is accepting applications for its scholarship program. The awards are available to former Head Start students who will graduate from high school in June and who will continue their education in college or vocational or trade school. Scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $1,000 and $500.
