Area high school students to participate in JETS test program The 21st Annual Junior Engi- neering Technical Society's Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math- ematics and Science (JETS/ TEAMS) competition for high school students will be held Mon- day, March 6 from 8a.m. to 2 p.m. (snow date is Tuesday, March 7). The testing will take place in the Bell Atlantic Center for Technol- ogy at Penn State Wilkes-Barre in Lehman. Sixteen large boxes were filled Kristi Snyder earns humanitarian award Kristi Snyder, a Shippensburg University senior social work major, was recently awarded the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award. The award, which commended Kristi for following in King's foot- steps, recognized her for years of dedication to the Building Bridges program at Shippensburg. The purpose of this program is to focus on topics of inequalities in all aspects of our society. Kristi is a 1997 Lake Lehman High School graduate.
