Ide of R.R. 4, Dallas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 23. They were married in Lehman, by the Reverend Frank Abbot. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Welsh. Mr. Ide retired from Air Products and Chemical, Wilkes-Barre. He is the son of the late David and Hope Ide. Mrs. Ide retired from Acme Markets, Shavertown and is the former Lois Garringer, daughter of the late John and Clara Garringer. They have five children; Dianne Rickenbach, New Jersey, Rich- ard A., Pikes Creek, Gary, Donna Zbiek and Teri Lanning, all residing in Dallas. They also have eleven grandchildren and twin great-grandsons. The Ide’s celebrated their anniversary with a cruise down the Mexican Riviera. In 1971, he graduated from the Den- tal Residency Program at the Pitts- burgh VA Medical Center, and joined their dental clinic staff.
