Brothers, Reese, Jack and Bruce, sisters, Dorothy Cosgrove and Betty Dowey, preceded him in death. GERTRUDE FIELDING Gertrude Fielding, 80, of Shav- ertown, died Jan. 12, 2000, at Lakeside Nursing Center, Harveys Lake. She was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Trucksville, daughter of the late Wesley and Ellen May Carey Bertram, and was a graduate of Dallas High School. Mrs. Fielding and her husband, Fred R., who died in 1985, had ‘owned and operated an economy store at Chase Corners from 1948 to 1973. Sister, Lois Nolf, also preceded her in death. GERALD ABERDEEN MILLER Gerald Aberdeen Miller, 52, of 24 Beechwood Road, Hudson, N.H., died Jan. 12,2000, at South- ern N.H. Medical Center due to cardiac arrhythmia disease. Mr. Miller was born Jan. 26, 1947 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, son of Margaret M. (Brzyski) Miller of Corning, N.Y., and the late Harold A. Miller. He resided in Hudson for the last 20 years of his life after moving from upstate N.Y. He lived in Shavertown, PA, while growing up and is a graduate of the former West Side Central Catholic High School, Kingston. Mr. Miller was an accomplished electrical engineer for Analog De- vices in Wilmington, M.A." He received a bachelor of science de- gree in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State Univer- sity in 1968. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Hudson and a member of the In- stitute of Electrical-Electronic Engineers. Besides his mother, survivors include his wife, Nancy A (Glover) Miller, two sons and a daughter, Brian, Evan and Jessica, all of Hudson, a sister and brother-in- law, Anne and Gary McCaslin of Corning, N.Y., and two nieces, Amanda and Elizabeth McCaslin of Corning, N.Y. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church and burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Hudson, N.H. OLIVE WILLIAMS Olive Williams, 90, of Harveys Lake, died Jan. 13, 2000, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late William and Cora Nelson Phillips. Mrs. Williams had resided at Harveys Lake for more than 50 years. Mrs. Williams had been em- ployed by the Kingston School District for many years, and be- fore retiring, she taught special education at the Schuyler Avenue School. Her husband, Moelwyn, died in 1981; daughter, Linda Wilson, April 9, 1999.
