LL band wins first place The Award-Winning Lake- Lehman Band recently competed in Bensalem. She is a second year student of the LCCC dental hy- giene program. Stanski represented all dental hygiene students in District II of the ADHA which includes Con- necticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, at the conven- tion. The week-long convention gave students and hygienists the op- portunity to participate in work-* shops toimprove communications skills, as well as continuing edu- cation courses on updated treat- ment methods. The Northeastern Pennsylva- nia component of the Pennsylva- nia Dental Hygienists’ Associa- tion (NPDHA) supported Stanski in her trip to the national conven- tion and provided a monetary con- tribution which allowed her to attend several functions during the convention.
