He was arrested by State Police officers after an incident Sept. 26 at the trailer park. Trooper Charles J. Prula said in an affida- vit of probable cause that when officers Joseph Wasko and Gerald Kincel were called to the trailer park shortly after 5 p.m. Puterbaugh was standing in the driveway near his trailer. A search revealed that he was car- rying a loaded .22 cal. revolver and an additional box of ammuni- tion. Puterbaugh’s girlfriend said he had verbally abused her, then took out the gun and fired a shot into the hood of her car, while she and her four daughters stood less than 15 feet away.
