Sem kicks off fund campaign The National Leadership Gifts Committee of the 1999-2000 Wyo- ming Seminary Annual Fund met recently to kick off this year’s campaign. Led by National Chairpersons Susan Weiss Shoval and Y. Judd Shoval, the first-ever National Committee will be working with the school’s top donors to reach the $775,000 goal. Since 1968, Seminary’s Annual Fund has been a major revenue source for the school's annual budget. It helps the school meet day-to-day expenses and provides funding for faculty salaries, fi- nancial aid and other programs. Tuition covers 80 percent of the total cost of a student’s edu- cation; the remainder is met by Annual Fund income and return on endowment. The Annual Fund has grown steadily during the past decade; it now provides 8 percent of the school’s operating budget.
