He earned a bachelor’s degree in be- havioral science at Messiah Col- lege in Grantham and received a master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH. Before his recent illness, he was an education advisor with ICS Learning Systems in Scranton~ He was previously employed at T.K. Gorman Catho- lic School in Tyler, TX, as a sev- enth, eighth and 11th grade in- structor of theology and by Eagle Distributing of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He was a member of Gate of ‘Heaven Church, Dallas, where he was a CCD instructor and Knights of Columbus Corpus Christi Council 11767 in Scranton. He was preceded in death by : his maternal grandfather, Joseph Adzema; and paternal grandpar- ents, Samuel and Clara Lewis. Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, the former Kathleen E.
