Applications are now available for ‘all athletes wishing to compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in the 1999 Games by calling (888) 445-4559 and are also available by visitng the Keystone State Games website at www.keystonegames.com. The Summer Games competi- tion includes archery, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, bowl- ing, boxing, diving, fencing, field hockey, foot hockey, golf, gym- nastics, ice hockey, judo, karate, lacrosse, masters swimming, road race, roller hockey, shooting, soc- cer, 7-on-7 soccer, softball, swim- ming, synchronized swimming, table tennis, team tennis, tennis, Tae Kwon Do, track and field, volleyball, Volksmarch/ Volksbike, powerlifting, and wrestling- folkstyle New to the Games this year are foot hockey, roller hockey, and senior golf. The program is open to . resident children of Kingston Township ‘who have completed kindergarten up to and including fifth grade, but no children older than 12 years. Proof of residency, such as a tax bill or drivers license will be required at the time of registration. A $15 registration fee will be collected for the first child in a family and a $10 fee for each additional child thereafter. Parents are reminded that the . children are responsible for their own admission fees for field trips, swimming and other activities. The summer program will be conducted each weekday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Children should meet at the park each morning with a bag lunch and drink. : Rereation supervisor Gretchen Kneal and counselors Rick Dickson, Daniel Natitus, Bradley Adams and Christopher Tucker have been busy planning exciting and enriching activities for the children. Each day spent at Cen- ter Street Park will include sports, games, guest speakers, music and arts and crafts. In addition, there will be several field trips through- out the summer. Participants will be going swimming at Frances Slocum State Park pool each Tues- day and Thursday. This program is sponsored by the Kingston Township Board of Supervisors, who encourage you to register your child on June 12 at the Center Street Park pavilion from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
