Meeting March 4 to review courses We would like to take this op- portunity to invite you to a very special meeting to be held Thurs- day, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the high school, when we will review in detail courses for current fresh- men, sophomores, and juniors for the 1999-2000 school year. Par- ents are strongly advised to at- tend and become involved with this process. When students are picking courses, they should be concerned about the course load. Although we try to balance (fall vs. spring) the load, some stu- dents do take more than they can handle. Also, be certain that the courses you sign up for are within your ability level. Check with your current instructors to get input as to whether you can suc- ceed on the next level of a subject area. Remember parents and teachers must initial course se- lection sheets. Although this can be a tedious process, proper plan- ning can insure success in the Fall. One final bit of advice: Ifyou need help, ask! Your guidance counselor can offer assistance as you piece together your schedule. The PTSO Bake Sale held on Back-to-School Night was a big hit.
