Commander Jack Good will con- duct the meeting. Plans for the children’s Christmas party to be held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2-4 .m. will be finalized. Legion 1999 dues are now due. After January 1, 1999, members not paid will be delinquent. The Legion has open-enrollment for new members. The School Spirit award win- ner is Mark Sowcik, a senior who is a member of the student coun- cil, tennis, peer helpers, senior steering. He received the 2nd Student of Month Award, First and Second Honors. Heis the son of Mark and Molly Sowcik. Justin Hoover is the Student Achiever for November. A senior, his extra school activities include soccer, volleyball, senior steering, National Honor Society, Student Council President, math competi- tion team. He isa Wyoming Valley Health Care volunteer, involved in tutoring, cropwalk, Riverside Rumble. He was a Youth Salute Int'l Forum on Medicine nominee, Nat'l Form on Law Nominee. He is the son of Russ and Dee Dee Hoover. Brian Miller is the Citizen Stu- dent award winner. A senior, he isamember of the Marching Band, Drama, Chorus, Jazz Band, Na- tional Honor Society, Boys Scouts of America, organist, choir direc-- tor.
