Kevin Arnaud and Dickson combined for 14 fourth quarter points to give their team a 32-19 victory over InterMetro. Chatham's of- fense was led by Dickson with 14 points, followed by Arnaud with 10 points and Johnny McGeehan with six points. American Asphalt 52 - Burger King 35 American Asphalt's Jon Barbose and Brian Dempsey com- bined for eight points to give their teama 10-4 lead over Burger King at quarter's end. Barbose ex- ploded for 15 of his game high 38 points in the second quarter, and gave his team a 27-8 halftime lead. It was much the same the next two quarters with Barbose scoring at will. Burger King's Ryan Gryskevicz scored 17 of his 21 in the third and fourth quar- ters, but it wasn't enough to stop Asphalt. Asphalt’s offense was led by Barbose with 38 points, followed by Dempsey with six and Jason Alfano and Francis Shovlin chipped in with four points apiece. Burger King offense was led by Gryskevicz with 21 points, fol- lowed by Carl Seitz with five points. American Asphalt is coached by Tony Barbose. Burger King is coached by George Gracely. Eastern Penn Supply 53 - NAPA Auto Parts 39 At the end of the first quarter, Eastern Penn held a slim 8-7 lead over NAPA. Eastern’'s Paul McCue caught fire in the second quarter, scoring 16 of his game high 26 points to give his team a 27-12 halftime lead. Eastern kept up the scoring attack in the third quarter with Joel Lesinski and Tim Kerestes leading the way. NAPA’s Mike English caught fire in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points, however it wasn't enough to stop a tough and determined Eastern Penn team. Eastern’s offense was led by McCue with 26 points, followed by Lesinski with 11 and Phillip Miller with six points. Dickson caught on fire in the third quarter punching in eight points for Leader. But the balanced scor- ing attack of Lacey six points, Ringler three and Wentko two points was three better to extend the lead to four after the third quarter, 23-19. Kukosky rallied Leader in the fourth with six press- ing points, but III Guy's did not panic as Lacey came up with six of her own along with a big bucket by Danielle Mikolosko to pick up the victory for III Guy's and even their record at one win and one loss. Playing a very good defen- sive game for III Guy's was Lauren Noreika. Penn State Seed 30 - Josie Italian Water Ice 11 Penn State Seed goes to three wins and O losses with a very balanced team effort led by shannon Thomas 10 points, Nicole Bostock, 10, Laura Star 6, Ashley Razawich two points and great defensive play. Jaime Sulewski’s two points and many big rebounds and Katie Tomek with a super defensive game. The first quarter Thomas was hitting Bostock and the inside game was working as Bostock laid in six points followed by a bucket apiece by Thomas and Stark, while defensive pres- sure by Penn Seed held Josie’s to a single bucket by Jackie Hardwick and a 10-2 Penn Seed lead after one quarter. Stark led the well balanced scoring attack in the second quarter with four points followed by a bucket apiece for Thomas, Bostock and Razawich and the Penn Seed de- fense once again held Josie’s to a single basket by Hardwick and a 20-4 Penn Seed half time lead. Thomas led the third quarter with six points for Penn Seed while Josie’s countered with three points by Hardwick to end the third quar- ter 26-7 Penn State Seed. The fourth quarter teams traded bas- kets as Bostock and Razawich hit for a bucket apiece for Penn Seed and Hardwick sunk in two bas- kets for four more points to end the game 30-11 Penn State Seed.
