VA, she was the daughter of the late Ira D. and Lura Moore Brill. She received a bachelor of sci- ence degree in home economics from the University of Pennsylva- nig in 1941. w“Following her marriage to the Rev. Dr. Wallace F. Stettler in 1945, she served with him in his pastorates at United Methodist churches throughout the Phila- delphia area including, Lima, Germantown and Springfield, Delwaware County. In 1967, she and her family moved to-Kingston when Dr. Stettler assumed the presidency of Wyoming Seminary. She took an active role in the life of Wyoming Seminary and trav- eled widely on behalf of the school, ‘once serving as guest accompa- nist for the Wyoming Seminary Madrigal Singers tour of Switzer- land. She was instrumental in start: ing the school’s parents’ auction and in revitalizing the Faculty Wives Club. § She was a member of the Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston, where she led various task forces including the Educa- tion Council and the Nominating Committee. Following Dr. Stettler’s retire- - ment in 1990, the couple moved to the Newberry Estate, Dallas and remained active in corimu- nity life. She was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Reinert and Lois McElwee. Surviving are her hus- bend of 53 years, the Rev. Dr. Stettler; her three sons, Stephen F.. Weston, VT; Samuel L.. Neshanic, NJ; and David B. of Dobbs Ferry, NY; two grandsons; sisters, Mildred Brill, Wynewood; and Frances Eskridge, Marlinton, W.« VA; brother Samuel Brill, Marlinton, W.
