Area 2, Dallas 1 A fiesty Dallas squad nearly pulled off the win on the road before falling 15-12 in the final game. The Mounts were blown away 15-3 in the first game, but came back to win 18-16 in the second. Tara Holley led the Mounts with eight kill, three aces and 21 digs. Later in the first quarter, the Sailors punched in another touchdown to make the score 14-0. The Raiders offense opened the second half with a 75 yard touch- down run by David Henry. Key blocks on the play came from Mark Rondina, Anthony Oliveri, Chad Kubasti, Josh Hilstolsky, ~ Ryan Urzen and Jesse Schrader. On the next series, the Raiders defense forced a fumble when Josh Backes stripped the runner. De- von McMahon recovered the fumble but the Riaders offense couldn't score. The Raider de- fense dominated the second half forcing three more fumbles. Play- ing well for the Raiders late in the game were Anthony Oliveri, Shane Scott and the Yedesko triplets, Billy, Scott and Matt. The Raider offense couldn't take advantage of these breaks and the game ended 14-6 in favor of ~ Swoyersville. The loss drops the C-Team record to 3-3. The next game for Kingston Township is homecoming week- end on October 11 at the Dallas High School. The C game starts at noon.
